Recently, in a small customer setup, I’ve experienced very poor performance on new HP computer hardware.
This customer used 6 new HP computers, connected to a small scale Office365 tenant.
Users logon to their computers by using their Microsoft account.
As an anti-malware product, Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security Services with Cloud App Security option.
The workstations use the default installed Windows 10 Pro installation. This installation includes HP Sure Sense.
Seems that having both Trend Micro anti-malware software and HP Sure Sense active at the same time, reduces the computer performance to an unworkable level.
Solution is to remove one of these products, to no longer have them both active. In this case the Trend Micro product is a paid product, the HP software has been removed.
